When was HRC established?

HRC was founded in Atlanta, GA in 2003.  The Charlotte office opened in 2012.

How does HRC ensure projects are completed on time and within budget?

HRC uses an Alliance Partner model that allows us to operate with lower overhead than many other consulting firms.  This model also allows us to assemble project-specific teams consisting of experts with the right skills and industry experience.  In addition, our projects included a designated project manager to ensure our projects are delivered on time and within-budget.

What type of businesses or organizations does HRC serve?

HRC’s clients are diverse, ranging from small not-for-profit organizations to midscale and large Fortune 100 companies such as Bank of America, The Home Depot, and Johnson & Johnson.  HRC has worked with clients across multiple industries including retail, hospitality, financial services, technology, and healthcare.  Many of our clients are global.  Click here to view our Client List.

Who are your consultants?

All of our senior consultants hold PhDs in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related fields and have at least two decades of experience.  Our junior consultants have Masters’ degrees as well as practical experience.  All of our Alliance Partners are thoroughly vetted and work side-by-side with HRC consultants before they are included in the network in order to maintain our high standards regarding quality of work, value, and a collaborative approach.

Does HRC offer any resources to help others learn about improving performance and engagement at work?

HRC offers its resource website, I/O AT WORK (ioatwork.com), to make cutting edge research available to leaders and HR/OD practitioners.  Our graduate students find research from top-tier research journals and write brief reviews of research we feel is relevant, applicable, and useful to our readers. This site is provided at no charge to our clients and the HR community at large because HRC is committed to employing practices that are based in research, and we encourage our clients and those in the community to do the same.  Bamboo HR named I/O AT WORK one of the Top 25 socially shared HR blogs in 2012.  In 2014, the site was nominated for the prestigious SHRM/SIOP Impact Award.  In 2016, the site was selected as a Top 30 Must-Read HR Blog by healthcareadministrator.org. In 2017, the site was noted as a top HR blog for WorkConnect by SAP (discover.sap.com) and listed as a top 75 workplace site for feedspot.com.
